Børk Børk Boom
The chef ignores the brief entirely—Dutch house kicks bounce while ladles fly and rubber poultry squeaks, leaving organizers confused, translators unemployed, and the dancefloor somehow packed.

Inside the fictional festival
Narrative & Festival Context
Festival Program Note
At this point, we have accepted that he will not read the brief. The kicks bounce, the ladles fly, and the syllables remain confidently untranslated. Dutch house arrives by way of cookware and rubber poultry, and somehow the floor stays full. We have filed the paperwork. He has ignored it. The crowd approves.

The people behind the music
Track dedication
Dedicated to me—because I’m not always trying to say something. Sometimes I’m just trying to feel something—and that’s plenty.
Fictional behind-the-scenes notes
Behind the track

After surviving their first collaboration, Patch should have known better than to give the Swedish Chef a microphone again—but the moment Chef walked into the booth with a rubber chicken and a saucepan full of drumsticks (the musical kind and the poultry kind), the session was already lost. Patch leaned all the way in: every børk, squaaak, and pan clang got sampled, sliced, and turned into percussion until the track basically became a kitchen operating at festival volume. The rule quickly became “if it makes noise, it’s an instrument,” which meant ladles became hi-hats, skillet hits became snares, and Chef’s completely untranslated gibberish somehow locked perfectly to the groove. Patch handled the structure just enough to keep the pot from boiling over entirely—but the real magic was realizing the Chef’s chaotic nonsense already had rhythm hiding inside it. The result is a track that sounds like a rave breaking out in a restaurant kitchen, with Patch trying (and failing) to keep the recipe under control while the Swedish Chef proudly shouts the only lyrics he knows: “BØRK BØRK BØØM.” 🐔🥁
